Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak disclosed that the Cabinet has approved the regional development plan to develop six regions, comprising the central, northeastern, northern, southern, and eastern regions, and three southernmost provinces, with a total budget of 94.4 billion baht. The Tourism Department will organize Thailand International Film Destination Festival 2019 (TIFDF 2019) from 25 March to 2 April. The event has been a vital force in promoting Thailand as a prime location for shooting international films and has helped to generate income for the Kingdom.
