Government Celebrates National Children's Day 2017 under the theme The Land of Happiness Following the King's Concepts

The Government will hold a special event to celebrate National Children's Day 2017 under the theme "The Land of Happiness Following the King's Concepts. The event will take place on 14 January 2017, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Government House in Bangkok.
Prime Minister Gen. Prayuth Chan-o-cha has invited all children to take part in the many activities organized for Childrens Day, such as the screening of the animation film Mahajanaka, Exhibition of Mangrove Forest and Demonstration of Chaipattana Low Speed Surface Aerator Model, and others.
Activities will be as interesting as in the previous year, including a chance to sit in the chair of the Prime Minister in Thai Khu Fah Building, and visit the cabinet meeting room at the Command Building. Following this years motto presented by the Prime Minister, "Thai Children Care for Education for National Stability, he urged Thai children to develop themselves by taking an interest in education so that they may in the future become effective resources for the Kingdom. He especially noted that the youths of today will be needed as the country approaches Thailand 4.0 and adamantly encouraged them to respect their nation, morality, and the law.
The Prime Minister invited children and parents to visit Government House for Childrens Day activities. Parents of small children were also advised to give their children a tag with important details, including their address and phone number, in case their children get lost.
