The Cabinet has approved a budget of 878 million baht to purchase seven cancer radiation therapy machines. The project, proposed by the Ministry of Public Health, aims to reduce the congestion and waiting time of patients, make their access to the treatment easier, and prevent the risk of spreading or getting infected with COVID-19.
