Because the worlds demand for rubber gloves in 2020 has risen to 3.6 hundred billion, which is worth 40 billion baht, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) has told the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) to promote Thailand as a Rubber Gloves Hub of the world under the support of the Ministry of Commerce (MOC), using the MOAC Produce, MOC Promote model. As Thailand is the leading rubber exporter in the world, this policy will increase the supply of rubber products to target markets, and officials will search for new markets that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. RAOT already supports rubber product entrepreneurs by offering loans totaling about 25 billion baht for expanding and developing their business to serve the world market.
